I had no schedule, no phone calls or emails to return. I didn’t have a worry in the world! I could stay in and paint, I could visit one of the many art galleries scattered throughout the island, or relax on the beach. I could read a book, take a nap, or take a workshop! Over the course of seven days, I did it all!
I arranged to learn how to make a Venetian plate from Italian glass canes at the Glass Foundry, run by Mark Lauckner. My, what a delight to see his wares!
