I took my painting outdoors today and enjoyed a lovely morning with fellow artists down by the riverside at Derby Reach National Park in Langley, BC.
Plein air painting is about the experience vs the final product. It’s about hearing the birds chirp and feeling the gentle breeze on my skin. It is not about achieving perfection! This piece took 4 hours from start to finish. It measures 11″x 14″ (28 x 35.5 cm) and is done in acrylic paints.
