I wanted to paint something predominately yellow, for my bedroom. A warm pop of colour in an otherwise neutral environment. I searched online for beautiful beach scenes and came up with one I could work with. The idea was to repeat the style I’d painted in a commissioned piece (view it here). This is a painting style unique to me. It is slightly textured with a cascade of colours, making the eyes dance across the canvas. I will paint more pieces in this style in the future.
