The studio was closed for just over three months! I am grateful my business overhead was manageable during the closure. The studio rent, and other business expenses had to be paid every month, despite the closure and drastic cut in income. The government took it’s time helping small businesses. (I’ve witnessed too many businesses forced to close permanently because of Covid-19 and government lockdowns.)
Once we had the green light, I opened the studio and my students trickled back. However, class sizes are reduced. Classes being offered are reduced. And now we’re following the required protocol of sanitizing hands and wearing face masks as our “new normal”. But at least we’re back in business!
